What Troubles You?

You don’t have to stay stuck. Change comes with understanding.

Anxiety and Uncertainty

The world we live in today can often feel overwhelming, with constant changes, uncertainties and pressures. Anxiety can take many forms, whether it’s general worry, specific fears, or an underlying sense of being able to cope. If you are feeling overwhelmed or uncertain, you are not alone.

Anxiety can show up in many ways: the constant buzz of worry, specific fears that hold you back, or a general sense of not being able to cope.

You might feel anxious about:

  • Your future, and what lies ahead

  • Relationships, and how they’re changing for you

  • Work, responsibilities, or unmet expectations in different aspects of your life

  • The weight of global events, and political uncertainty

  • The well being of our planet

  • A persistent, underlying sense that things aren’t right

If you’re feeling uncertain or overwhelmed, you’re not alone.

Therapy offers a space where you can meet your anxiety with curiosity and compassion, without the need to make it disappear. It’s a place to be seen and heard, to understand the deeper stories behind your feelings, and to find ways to live more peacefully alongside them. Together, we’ll create room for acceptance, helping you navigate life with more presence and ease.

Relationship wounds and woes

My work is rooted in the belief that relationships – whether with ourselves or others – are central to our emotional wellbeing. If you are experiencing relational difficulties, whether in intimate partnerships, family dynamics, friendships, or workplace connections, I am here to support you to navigate these challenges.

Difficulties include:

  • Feeling disconnected or misunderstood by a partner, despite efforts to communicate

  • Struggling with trust issues, either from past betrayals or fear of being hurt again

  • Repeating unhealthy patterns in relationships, like choosing partners who aren’t emotionally available

  • Difficulty setting boundaries or asserting needs, leading to resentment or burnout

  • Carrying the weight of unresolved conflicts or emotional pain from past relationships

  • Fearing rejection or abandonment, even when the relationship feels secure

  • Struggling with the impact of childhood attachment wounds that affect how you relate to others

  • Feeling emotionally distant or isolated, even when surrounded by loved ones

  • Inability to move forward after a breakup, feeling stuck in grief or regret

In therapy, you might learn to build healthier boundaries, address unresolved emotional pain, and foster deeper, more authentic connections, allowing you to feel more secure and understood in your relationships.

Is this it?

Life hasn’t turned out the way you imagined. You might be approaching a milestone birthday or a significant life phase, feeling at a crossroads. Perhaps you haven’t reached where you thought you would be by now—whether in your career, relationships, or hopes for a family. Maybe you never even knew exactly what you wanted, but the absence of direction or fulfillment feels heavy.

You might feel disappointment, resentment, or even bitterness. A sense of urgency to change things, yet feeling stuck.

Common experiences include:

  • Wanting children, but facing challenges or feeling the clock ticking.

  • A career that feels unfulfilling despite years of investment.

  • Relationships that lack depth, nourishment, or satisfaction.

  • A lingering sense of being lost or not belonging.

  • A blended family that isn’t the happy ideal you envisioned.

  • Pressures and expectations—whether internal or external—that haven’t materialised.

Therapy offers a space to acknowledge and process these emotions—grief, anger, disappointment—so they don’t remain suppressed and hold you back, leaving you stuck. Together, we can make sense of your story so far, explore meaning and purpose, and uncover new possibilities for the future.
